Literary Club:

To develop the child's personality and enhance speech and communication, we work on a theme basis in the Literary Club. Every month a theme is chosen (in Jan'08 our theme was 'fruits'; in Feb'08 we chose 'animals') through which the children are taught recognition, color, association and speech development. At the end of each month, the children participate in a group activity where they speak about what they have learned in front of an audience, put on a skit, wear associated colors, or sing songs related to the theme. This encourages the child to be confident, grow individually, and be part of a group as well.
